Information we collect

We collect account details, creator profile information, portfolio media, public contact choices, claim evidence, submissions, comments, reports and messages you choose to provide.

For security and moderation we may also process limited technical information such as session identifiers, device or browser information and protected IP-derived records.

Why we use it

• Create and secure accounts, profiles and creator workspaces.
• Review ownership claims, publication requests, credits and reports.
• Publish information and media that has been approved for public display.
• Prevent abuse, investigate disputes and protect people and creative rights.
• Operate, measure and improve Ceylon Scene.

Public profiles and choices

Published names, biographies, portfolio media, credits, cities, selected social links and public booking details can be viewed by anyone. Creators control optional public contact fields. Private account email addresses and claim evidence are not displayed publicly.

Sharing and international processing

We use service providers for hosting, storage, email delivery, security, analytics and, when enabled with the required consent, advertising. Providers receive only the information needed for their service and may process data outside Sri Lanka subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, dispute handling and platform security. Sensitive claim evidence is access-restricted. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we use role-based access, review records and technical safeguards to reduce risk.

Your requests

You may ask to access, correct, update or delete personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where applicable, or request a profile correction or takedown. Use the Contact page and include enough information for us to verify the request safely.

Children

Ceylon Scene creator accounts are intended for adults. We do not knowingly publish sexualised content involving minors. A parent or legal guardian must manage any permitted profile involving a person under 18 and provide documented consent.
